"I’m a regular customer at the store. Everyone has been courteous and kind in my experience. The deli/hot food counter has specifically been wonderful. Whether I’m getting a combo plate, a sandwich, or filling up on groceries, they have always been quick and attentive no matter how busy it is. Today, I overheard customers really grilling an associate because she would not break the rules to give them all of the thighs for their chicken combo. The employee was never rude, she explained the policy and was kind the entire time. The customer threatened to complain, but I was honestly impressed at how she kept her cool and continued to help the customer despite the toxicity being thrown her way. Another associate stepped in to help with my order while this was going on and I had yet another great experience in this Safeway. I knew there may be a complaint, and it made me realize how important it is that I express my gratitude to these employees who make the store what it is. Thank you!"
