"This place is no secret - but the recognition and kudos are beyond warranted. Wow! The atmosphere is quaint and charming but also high end. You feel like you are in Europe. The service was top tier (shout out to Nicole and to the somms) who went above and beyond to ensure a perfect service for us. The food was 10/10. Don’t sleep on the curried fish or the gnocchi. Can’t recommend enough for a romantic dinner in Carmel."

We learned about how Parisians prepare their gnocchi in a different and very special way, and it was such a fun detail to discover while dining. The vibe and decor were amazing and created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and cozy at the same time. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, which made the entire experience feel even more welcoming. The chef was wonderful and took the time to share stories about his travels through Italy, which added a personal touch that you do not get everywhere. The pizza that my friends ordered was incredible with a crust that was light, flavorful, and perfectly baked. Another friend ordered the lasagna and it was unique in the best way with layers that were rich and comforting. The salad was refreshing and balanced out the meal beautifully. I highly recommend this lovely place for anyone who appreciates thoughtful food, warm service, and a memorable dining experience."

"We found this via Google Maps. Came with high expectations cause of high reviews. The restaurant was beautifully decorated in vintage style. The staff were fast, but they were difficult to get attention. Many times we waved at them but they continued chatting with each other. The food was okay, but they were really overpriced food. I could have the same quality in a less popular town with cheaper prices. I guess this is what you get for a tourist attraction town."
